In accordance with tradition, the celebration was opened by management and the past business year, which can be regarded as fairly positive, was summed up. Management thanked all employees for their performance and commitment.

One positive aspect to be stressed was that a total of 21 employees were honoured for their many years of service to the company. Management congratulated five employees on 25 years of service, and a further 16 employees on their ten years of service and loyalty to the company. Consistency and continuity form the firm principles of the family-owned company, which was founded in 1910. In addition, the company bid farewell to a total of three long-serving employees as they commenced their well-deserved retirement. All those honoured were presented with a gift basket, as well as a certificate with words of thanks from management.

The proceeds of the annual tombola brought in a considerable amount of money and was increased by management to make a total of €2,000. Traditionally, the proceeds are donated to a charitable organisation. The FED 2000 Familienentlastender Dienst Tuttlingen was delighted to receive this considerable sum this year.
